Soundnode App Soundnode App is an Open-Source project to support Soundcloud for desktop Mac, Windows, and Linux. It's built with Electron, Node.js, Angular.js, and uses the Soundcloud API. Be aware that Soundnode relies on Soundcloud API which only allows third party apps to play 15 thousand tracks daily. When the rate limit is reached all users are blocked from playing/streaming tracks.

Unfortunatly soundcloud suspended new application creation, so to retrieve your api key, you have to dig into soundcloud website. Login to soundcloud.com on favorite browser. Look for and api call and write down the clientid parameter.
Edit your userConfig.json file (see here for location: ) and update clientId parameter with the previously retrieved one. I’m the designer of StreamCloud. StreamCloud is a small side project that we’ve shipped very early to get as much input as possible at the very beginning.
If you find bugs you could really help us making StreamCloud better by submitting them with as much information as possible here: Also we’ve a lot of to-dos for the next releases:. First of all we get rid of the bugs we will get. Than we will focus on reposts. Currently we don’t get reposts via the SoundCloud API. So we can’t guarantee if it’s possible to show them in StreamCloud. Than there are Sets. Currently we get them via the API but we don't have support in the player for now.
Option to toggle between your stream and your favorites. At last we want an option to filter the stream by artists. And if you have ideas for features please let us know! Thank you for your interest!
